Spirits or ghosts may appear to the human eye, only on occasion. We can't see these things all the times, unless a person has a special gift, otherwise we would all be seeing dead people/things walking around in plain sight, which would be AWESOME! It's a theory that dogs/cats can sense things that we may not be able to. Anyone who has a pet and thinks they live with a ghost, may be able to attest to this. Growing up I had a friend that had a black mass that would roam around her house and her dog would be seen growling/barking or staring at odd places. In my own home, my cat constantly stares off at the kitchen or down the hallway. This last weekend, my dad (Kurt), brother (Josh), family friend (Allison), tour guide for the Manor (Josh Heard) and his brother, decided to test this theory and bring my brother Josh's hunting dog, Presley, to the manor and see what she could sense. She went straight to the room we call "The Little Girls" room, where we've had multiple experiences. But the odd thing about this visit with Presley, is that she WOULD NOT, under any circumstance, go up into the attic. I've been up there a few times and it's pretty freaky up there. I don't blame her at all for not wanting to go up there.

Welcome to Walking with the Dead , the all around weird, real history and happenings of Malvern Manor. If you’ve visited the Manor, you know that there’s a multitude of things that have happened and are happening at all times of the day. From the very first time my family and I investigated the Manor about a year ago, we’ve kept coming back. The first time I had even heard of the Manor, my dad had asked me what I thought about going and actually investigating a “haunted house” called Malvern Manor, he had heard on the radio one day about this place and looked it up on facebook [the link is at the bottom (: ]. I first watched the video of the cabinet in the kitchen opening on command (WEIRD), but this spiked my interest and I couldn't wait to visit. The first time we went, Josh Heard, showed us around and told us all the stories that are known and helped us along the night investigating. We didn’t take any videos or pictures from this time, but this was the night my aunt Michelle and I both seen Gracie. Leading up until our last visit where we set an audio recorder in Gracie's room, shut the door and investigated down the hall in the nursing home wing. You can hear us in the background, but we caught an interesting EVP (electronic voice phenomena). This is just one of the many things that we've experienced at the Manor. |
